School of Occupational Therapy Professor

The College of 健康 Sciences seeks applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track position in the School of Occupational Therapy on the Hickory campus of Lenoir-Rhyne University. This appointment is designed as a nine-month contract, to serve as an occupational therapy educator in the classroom for the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program. This appointment will begin in the Fall of 2024.

This position will teach graduate occupational therapy courses and carry a 24-hour teaching load each year. 服务 to the university, scholarly and professional engagement and campus citizenship is also required. A terminal degree in occupational therapy is preferred. Evidence of exemplary college teaching experience is strongly preferred. Familiarity with and willingness to develop and deliver courses utilizing campus learning platforms, face-to-face teaching and laboratory environments is required.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to collaborate closely with LR’s School of Occupational Therapy and the graduate admissions office to maintain enrollments and sustain strong partnerships with clinical fieldwork placement sites. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment and capacity for teaching excellence, student mentorship, scholarly and professional engagement and campus citizenship.
