位置: Hickory, North Carolina 

College of 健康 Sciences administrative support assigned to the School of Nursing (SON) and School of Physician Assistant Studies (PAS) focusing on coordination of clinical experiences for the graduate-level programs. The position works closely with the School of Nursing DNP Family Nurse Practitioner Program Director and Physician Assistant Studies (PAS) Director of Clinical Education.

Essential Accountabilities

  • Man年龄s clinical placements for the MSN, DNP and PAS programs of study
    • Securing rotations
    • Collecting necessary paperwork
    • Verifying preceptor credentials
    • Securing contracts
  • Man年龄s student compliance, on-boarding and tracking for clinical experiences (non-graded records-site evaluations, 学生日志, preceptor evaluations, 等)
  • Maintains clinical site accounts and preceptor accounts
  • 计划, coordinates and executes logistics for School of Nursing and School of Physician Assistant Studies events and projects
    • Provides support for DNP Immersion sessions
    • Provides support for PAS OSCE and Simulation activities
  • 坐标, attends and prepares materials for and/or records minutes at meetings and special events
  • Perform other 职责 as assigned by the College Dean

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to man年龄 sensitive and confidential situations with tact, 专业, and diplomacy and work with individuals at all levels of the university
  • Excellent time man年龄ment and organizational skills with a heightened attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conflict resolutions skills.
  • Extensive knowledge about the university, its faculty and its student population
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, MS Teams or related software.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field required or business-related administrative skills required
  • Minimum of three years of experience working related to the 职责 and 责任 listed.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Ability to travel with 学生, faculty and 工作人员 throughout campus

工作安排

  • Standard office hours M-F, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with some flexibility possible
  • Subject to change based on university need, scheduled courses and university growth
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job 职责 demand
